1 week old & Mom

This is my hairdresser, I begged her to let me practice when her baby would be under 2 weeks old. She came over, also got to visit with my daughter and 7 week old grandson, and this was one that I thought of the pose. I know it would be much better if the other little hand was in focus, but I was happy I had a vision and I was able to make it happen ! This is only the 3rd little baby I have ever shot.
I had an upper bedroom with a north facing window and on camera flash. My "pretend play" studio !

    I like the second version a lot! The out of focus hand doesn't really bother me but that's just me I don't know what others will have to say. It is a beautiful shot!
