King of the Beach

This little Harbor Seal pup came up on the beach with all the elephant seals at Piedras Blancas just north of San Simeon, every time one of the femals would challenge him for getting to close he would bark with everything he had, and oddly enough the MUCH larger animals would back off. Got to admire that kind of spirit. Hail to the king baby... :wink

    Awwwww, what a cute little guy. He looks so sad. He looks like he's moving away from the others. I'm glad your story tells it better. Love the light on him. Very nice shot.:D
