system wide problem???

Yesterday, with no action on my part, my banner became smaller and repositioned on my site at http://sealifeimages.smugmug.com/. Today the banner is gone altogether.

I see others are having troubles too.

Is a system wide problem being addressed?

Hmmm, yes now the banner is displayed.

Whatever was wrong seems to be corrected. The symptoms were the same as others reported, so I concluded it was a symptom problem. Any idea what it might have been?
