Anyone want a great deal on a nice used Nikon D300?

Selling this for a friend, who bought it from me. :) He went back to Canon, and this is all he has left...

US model Nikon D300 - functionally perfect, very good cosmetically. Just over 29k actuations, but you wouldn't know it by looking at it. This camera has been well taken care of its whole life. LCD cover has always been on, so LCD is great.

You can see some rough snaps of the camera at www.reboimages.com/fm

Has box, battery, charger, maybe the software, not 100% on that. Wants a quick sale - $1035 shipped and paypaled in the US.

Would consider a Sekonic L-358 meter as a partial trade, but that's about it.

I have a ton of good feedback on ebay under squeaky_Clean82 and a bunch on fredmiranda.com under the user squeaky_clean - feel free to check it out. You will see that you will get what you are paying for. :)

Thanks!

Chris

Yeah, it does have a little higher shutter count, but it is in perfect working condition! Never a problem...

29k is not high at all. My d300 is pushing 80k and no issues whatsoever. Remember, it is rated to 150k. So technically it has at least 80% life left in the shutter.

Yah, that's what I heard too. My D80 has around 7K actuation so 29K seems like a big # for me, and of course I'm not professional so high actuation freak me out sometime.

If I can sell my D80 in time I might step up to this D300.

    Mine??
Awaken this morning to an email - Trade De-Pended (thats a good word, is it not!)! So looks as though I have me a D300 . Though working from the other side of the planet (the better side, of course!) there are always fears of scams, etc, and then of course the associated import costs. Are well, there are no free lunches, hey. So thanks Chris for your courtesy.

    Arrived
Well, Chris - the body arrived and my son picked it up from the UPS depot in Sydney today. The initial phone call from the Philippians threw me at first, thinking it was a scam or something. But is was genuine UPS. And painfree. The camera is as you said, Chris - in good nick. So thankyou again, and looking forward to learning its arts.

No big deal. Just that you'd get better exposure with your own thread. Good luck with the sale...
