These are the detail shots I took at the wedding I shot on Saturday. I'll be posting more when I get more photographs edited. I am just now getting to the Portrait part of the day. It's taken my feet three days to stop hurting. LOL

I took several different ring shots. I'll only post two here though.

I like the first ring shot as well. thumb.gif

If I may, here's a few C&C of the rest:
#2 - the DOF is so shallow I don't get much out of it
#3 - same desire for more DOF to capture the clarity of the jewels
    #4 - Good! :D
#5 - a little dark/flat - perhaps bump up the contrast and exposure
#6 - not bad - missing something though; very warm, white balance needs tweeking
    #7 - a little dark, not bad
#8 - nice shot, but could use more exposure; very warm, WB needs work
#9 - lacks clarity; needs WB work most of all - everything very yellow

Overall, your work is good, just needs tweeking. The thing at the top of my list for these is white balance. This is something I've starting reallly paying attention to lately and it makes all the difference - especially when the bride's dress looks white again!

#9 the focus fell on a guest that I cropped out of the picture. I just loved the brides pose.

Nice details. I think #9 is interesting, and I like the yellow aged processing on it.

    WTG Julie-
I actually love #2- it is going to be awesome for a background to a wedding album! You are on your way! Keep goin'!

    (expecting/wanting to see more!)

I agree with Heather. First thing I though of when I saw #2 was "What a great background shot for the Album"
