Here are a few from the weekend, wasn't really much of a sunrise though.. was also testing out my new grad ND filters.

    The palette in the sky looks pretty good to me, especially in the second shot. The rocky beach also looks like it has a lot of potential. What stop grad ND filter(s) were you using?
    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

    Hi thanks for the comments. I am at work but from memory it was a Cokin P 121 ND2 which is about 1 stop? I think.

    When using the grads I found that the histogram was still hard to get right, it was going toward the left shadows mostly.

    Do not know how to use the curves very well for adjusting colors still. I have had a bit of a play, however these have been adjusted on my work monitor from the jpgs.

    Do you think they look any better?
