Hello From Luke Woodford- 1st Post

Hi all,

My name is Luke Woodford.

11 months and 3 days ago I had long talk with my girlfriend. We were thinking of business ideas, she suggested becoming a photographer. I had never been into photography but im creative, its relativly cheap to set up etc etc. The next day I bought a camera, worked my bum off and that was that. 11 months ago I didn't know what exposure meant, now by the end of my first year I have 16 weddings booked (done 7). I shoot portraits and also do some commercial work. I also LOVE street photography, mainly street portraits.

I have been a member of the Talk Photography forums since I started. I have decided to join other forums so more people can see my personal stuff. Here is a selection of my work over the last two weeks. I look forward to sharing more of my work with you over time.

These are fantastic! I am not good with street pictures myself. I have a hard time pointing my camera at strangers Most of the time I get feet.

Your street portraits are astounding. Such personality in each of them! The first two are particularly emotive. Love your processing as well.

Hi everyone thanks for all the replies, I must say I was scared to look. When I mentioned to the guys on tP that I wanted to join other places to share my work I some people shot me down and they thought I was basically spamming, funny since I have over 2700 posts there and I have contributed ALOT to the forum. Thank you all for welcoming me and I will be contributing to this forum, it looks like a great place, quite hard to get my head around because its so different from TP but ill get used to it

Thank you, its more like 3 years though the amount of actual hours ive speant learning a reading forums and stuff
