So Chris and I were bored one night and went out to take some photos, I told him to go up on this staircase so I could try a test shot for a senior portrait session I have coming up. Here is what I came up with. The only thing I don't like is that his closer arm is slightly OOF. This was shot with my camera mounted SB600. Click for EXIF.

    The arm doesn't look too soft to me. I like the pose and his serious expression.

    Great use of fill flash. I would have never known if you hadn't mentioned it, which is pretty much the goal!

    Lol.... *sigh* Picture is great subject is not.

    He kinda looks like a goofy looking person. With his hair being in that not to short, but not to long stage that nobody likes....

    Maybe I'm just a goofy looking person? eh eh! hahaha....

    Really, this is a great shot. I like the pose - the arm positioning seems a little unnatural but it still works. Very nice Matt thumb.gif

    It's neat to get both the photographer's and the subject's perspectives on a shot, and makes me realize I couldn't do this type of work. Can just hear myself now, "What the #$5% are you talking about...this is the best portrait. You're buying THIS one!"
