Alien egg

Three raindrop in spidersweb shots. The first ones definately look like there is an alien in there (the second one is an inverted phart) - pretty certain the raindrop is formed round a shed spider skin.

    I usually try to be a little more descriptive than just 'wow', but wow, these are great. It's a fantastic and difficult subject beautifully photographed.

    It's definitely a molt. Hard to count the legs of course but to me it looks like the white oval section in the first shot is the cephalothorax, the two legs coming off of that are the rear right legs, and the front two are tucked under them.
