BMW Club Rnd 2, Eastern Creek Supersprints

I've had these since mid May and it's taken me some time to finish them. My big problem is I end up with 1700 shots at the end of one track day, and that number gets culled to under 800. So my processing takes forever and I'm only cropping and adjusting exposure here and there. I'm starting to get some of the guys asking if I'm selling my shots, they say there is a tog who shoots but that his prices are a little high. These were all shot with a Tamron AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 that a mate lent me, you're a long way from the action at this track so it was welcomed over my small 200mm. I slowed the shutter speed a lot for these shots compared to here. As before, had problems with metering on the white cars :dunno I've got some questions about cropping, which I'll be asking soon over in the finishing room. I sometimes think I'm wanting to learn everything think right away, I'll shut up now

I would like to shoot some of this type of races.
I drove 4 hours oneway last week to check out the VIR track in Virginia and they closed it earlie so, I did not get to take any shots or even get to see the track for the first time ...bad luck I guess.
Practice for 12 of the nascar teams was posted on the VIR web site from 12PM-5:30PM. When I got there at 2:30PM they said all the teams had finished practice and pulled out for the day.
The VIR track also holds races for the Gold Cup Historic Race, Championship Cub Series Motorcycle roadracing & Porshe Club of America Rumble at the Oak Tree. I would like to make it back to shoot some of these other races.
