Soccer from the weekend
Wanted to post some soccer shots from the weekend. Using picture control settings suggested by Tim Kelly after seeing his excellent baseball shots last week. Thanks Tim. I like them.
I am still working on my soccer shooting skills though. Having never played it I struggle to anticipate the peak action shots. I am finding I get them but some are just OOF as I just missed focus or I was on the player behind the one I really wanted. Have been shooting at f/4 with my 80-220 as I found the 80-200 to be slightly softer than I like at 2.8, don't get quite the subject seperation I would like but still good.
