I am new to dgrin and have enjoyed looking around thank you to all that contribute!

I am shooting my first wedding in a couple of weeks and have seen a cool idea for some shots where the B&G are holding a sign that says "Thank You" so it can be used as their thank you cards. Has anyone used this idea or something similar and if so how large did you make your sign? I you have any other creative ideas for this I would love to hear about them.

That sounds great! Maybe have an 8x10 sign and have the bride and groom out of focus in the background, kissing? Leaning their heads together? Or just a tight shot of their hands with rings holding the sign. I'm sure you'll get some other great suggestions here!

What most people do is have the B & G just hold up a blank white poster. Then you add the "thank you" in post. It comes out way clearer that way.
    Simple dimple.

I recently saw a cool shot from a beach wedding. "Thank You" was drawn in the sand, in sharp focus, while the B&G were very soft in the background with the sunset/beachfront/waves.

-can use an old umbrella and paint thank you in wild colors or colors that work w/ umbrella.
have the b&G hide behind the umbrella or peaking around it ... what ever...
the umbrella top side facing camera.
