Paul Iddon

This busy little bee was filling up on the pyracanthra in the front garden. It (and a few others) didn't stay long - they seem to have a sixth sense - as it started to rain just a couple of minues later and they have this ability to sod off when it gets like that!

Anyhow, managed to get two in focus, the first one showing more of the surroundings, the other a closer crop.

Thanks Paul I really appreciate your reply. I am keeping better but unable to get down quick enough to secure a good macro shot. Never mind I am making up with the Landsacapes etc. and getting used with the 10-22 and 17-55 hopefully I will get back to the macro as the MPE was not cheap. By the way Paul how do you find the 55.250 as I have found it up and down if you know what I mean and I mainly keep the 17-55 on me 40D.

My 55-250 works well Bob and is good and sharp across almost the entire range. Contrast is good and CA is reasonably well controlled. The IS works a treat. All in all, pretty pleased with it.
