I was leaving town last night as the sun was setting and had to stop and take a couple shots. We have been having some beautiful sunsets.
I am posting 2 photos and I would like your opinion as to which you like the bast and why if possible.

Thanks, Ron

I like the first best. The sunrays and saturation is more appealing. What is lacking is any good anchor (foreground element) and something interesting to go with that sunset. The colors and clouds are lovely and it's good you stopped to capture it.

Awesome shots, Ron! Though it's difficult to choose, I prefer the 1st shot. The color and the highlights in the sky are more conspicuous without being over the top. In addition the ?God Rays?, to me, appear more beautiful in the 1st shot. Lastly, I really like how much more texture is apparent in the FG grass of the 1st shot. thumb.gif
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.
