Narcistic Bluebottle

I spent bloody ages following this bluebottle up and down the window in the front room trying to get a picture of it. Damned thing just disn't want to pose, let alone stay still for a grab.

In the end, it did stop moving about occasionally, and I took the opportunity.

Didn't use the tubes, the siggy, and had to crop in to get closer on the PC afterwards. Shot in portrait mode but processed to landscape.

C&C as usual is good.

Exif:

Camera Make: Canon
Camera Model: Canon EOS 450D
Image Date: 2009:06:10 18:10:16
Flash Used: Yes (Manual)
Focal Length: 105.0mm
CCD Width: 4.18mm
Exposure Time: 0.017 s (1/60)
Aperture: f/5.0
ISO equiv: 100
Exposure Bias: -0.67
White Balance: Auto
Exposure: program (Auto)

    Paul.

Taking into account all your trouble Paul, I think you turned out trumps. I like it.

Good ones Paul - esp like the first 2 shots.
BTW a spot of honey will normally keep them occupied.

    Thanks Bob :)

Cheers Brian. But somehow, I don't think the wife would fancy me using her honey on the venetian blinds counterweight in the living room (last 2 pics) lol..
