    Thanks Karl!

Here's another one that didn't turn out too bad...the weather wasn't cooperating much, but I think the clouds make this photo look kinda mysterious, no? ne_nau.gif

These are great! Of course, you can't go wrong with Scotland. I'm going there in a couple of weeks, and these photos have me really excited. I hope to get some good images like these. Well done!

I really like this one too, Robyn. Looks like you had a very productive trip. I've never been to Scotland, and these images really make me want to go...that's about the best compliment I can think of. clap.gif

    Great post Robynthumb.gif

The entire country of Scotland is akin to a National Park in the states. But that does not make it easier to compose. You have a good sense of compositionclap.gif

Beautiful series but that last one (Boats on the water near Dunstaffnage Castle (Outside Oban)) is a major wall hanger in my view clap.gifclap.gifclap.gifiloveyou.gifiloveyou.gifiloveyou.gif

You're right.. clouds can sometimes make the photo much better than a clear blue sky, although I'm sure you wouldn't have been complaining if it was a clear day!

Thank you all for saying such nice things about my photos! iloveyou.gif

We really did have a wonderful time in Scotland...even though the week started out very wet. This was my third time visiting there, and certainly not my last! It truly is a magical place!

I just wish we were able to visit Iona, Mull, and Staffa, but we missed the boat by a half hour! That will be on my next itinerary, for sure!

Thanks again for your comments everyone!!!

    Awesome work,

#1 is so deep, and the last of Eileen Donan is great. I really hope to get back there in the next few years, can't wait.

Thanks Andrew...We planned our trip when the £ Pound was fairly low...so it was semi-affordable to go this year, I hope that within the next couple of years we can go again.

By the way...I'm in CT too! I take for granted all the beauty around New England, but from the looks of your photos you really capture it! Nice work!

Check out NSOP (New School of Photography) in the link below in my signature, ran by a RI guy, and we frequently do meets in RI, and CT. Just about every weekend, we are down on the RI shoreline shooting somewhere at sunrise. This week is Sachuset Point in Newport if you are interested. Great forum also, with a lot of great photographers and discussion.

I like these photos especially the first one, even though it does feel slightly crooked (titled to the right a bit). Still it's an awesome photo and looks like it was a great trip.
