I've been lurking for a while now. I've seen some really gorgeous portraits with post processing(smoothing skin, adjusting colors), etc. What does a photo look like without any post processing? I've seen several and before photoshop the photos looked dull and flat or very plain. Most people don't post their original wedding or portrait images but I would like to see some. What a before and after looks like.

Look at what this guy did in post processing. The three pictures of the girl are the same shot, believe it or not. Amazing what can be done.

I did some post processing on this thread ( http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=133485 ) with someone elses photo to give you some idea of what can be done without skin smoothing and local manipulation (as apposed to global moves on the image) of the image. Don't get me wrong. I do use skin smoothing and teeth whitening and eye shadow darkening and eye enhancement locally (more with women's photos) but less with kids and men. I wanted to leave the chocolate cake showing around the kids mouths:D

You can also scan the Finishing School board for more examples.
Here is a current thread that shows you pre and post images:http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=133430
