Dearest SmugMug.

I have a problem. Yesterday, I tried three separate times to upload 15 large resolution photos (27-42 megs each) to a new gallery on my smugmug site. The first two times, I used the Aperture 2 "upload to smugmug" plug-in, which has worked for every preceding upload. The third time, I exported all of my photos to a file on my computer, and then used the manual drag-and-drop on my smugmug site. Problem is, when I visit my site after uploading has completed (with time in between) the gallery is empty and none of my other galleries show the photos.

I don't understand what's going on... Any ideas? I did customize the gallery and added right-click protection, added a gallery name and description...

Hoping you can help. These photos are meant to be shared in a timely fashion, aka this morning... :rolleyes

Cheers in advance.

Okay, found out via the help section off the "Help" button on my site that I can go under control panel to find out the stream of events and whether or not it's an IT thing on my end...

The files transferred correctly (all four times) but there is a message saying they were above the 12mb limit. Is this new? I don't recall a limit before, nor do I think I did anything differently in exporting than I have before.... Just curious... Attempting to hit the 12mb/per right now...

    Cheers!

No, that's not new. File size limitations can be seen on this page - http://www.smugmug.com/help/upload-photos.

    from the help pages
The current size limitations on photos are:

    * 12 megabytes for Standard and Power users
    * 24 megabytes for Professional users
    * 48 megapixels for all users

And those limits have been raised from the ones years ago.
