How do I automate a plugin?

Hi there!

I need a little help. I know how to batch process photos with actions. But how do I batch process a plugin? I tried to make an action of me using the plugin and it recorded fine. But when I use it as an action nothing happens.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
