Keyword "problem"
I am shooting a very large triathlon this weekend and was under the impression I could use keywords as a simple and effective way to have participants find their photos....
Keep in mind that each person will have 3-10 photos taken of them...
I simply wanted to use keywords with an abbreviation of the event, in this case Capital View Triathlon and then their bib number....the keyword I would input would be
CVT1701 or whatever their bib is
I tried this on a couple sample photos and all I could get to stick was the CVT
I tried another with just a bib number, in this case 001 and tried applying that to several photos in teh series (that was all photos should appear when a search is done)
Neither seems to work.....
Sunday is the big event....can anyone help?

Thanks,
Nick

Keywording with a bunch of photos with bib number may fall under the the Peter Wolf's stupid patent.
I don't agree with it; i don't like it. I think it's wrong.
thread on the issue from years ago
To get around the issue of patent infringement, you need to pay Peter Worf some $ or $$. Or, just ignore and hope his lawyers don't troll every photo gallery on the interweb.
Don't blame smuggy -- blame Wolf. Smugmug wasn't the only photo hosting service that settled (printroom etc). I just don't want you to be caught off guard.
Worked like a charm.....
now if I can just figure out how to make albums within categories within a gallery....or something like that...

I thought that might be the answer but was "afraid" to do so close to the event..
So if I understand correctly, in my gallery for:
Capital View Triathlon
I create sub catagories and this basically creates an "album"...
Thanks again...
