    there is more light on right side of nose... maybe play with it some.. try different crops top and bottom and make the shadows symmetrical..

    this second one is very artistic. I will give it that.. "mute" comes to mind.

    Yet again, I'm the weirdo :)

    I like these better, although I'm not sure whether these or the fighter pictures are better suited for the challenge.

    Could the asymmetrical light be the result of a broken nose? If so, I'd leave it. Makes it more 'human' if you will... we all have imperfections.

    Just beautiful. I really love the darkness and detail in the face. I can't say enough about it!

    This is a very powerful, gritty image....I really like it.

    I don't notice as much the shadow, but I do notice the uneven catchlights in the eyes.

    I personally like your "different" larger crop.

    This doesn't speak challenge theme that much to me, but challenge be damned - this is a really great photo!

    Ah...I like the eyes! Definitely works for the theme. Either the cropped one or the full face work well. Both are powerful images! I like better than the ones with the hands IMHO.

    Reminds me of a charcoal self-portrait I did about 20 years ago in college!

    That's creepy how much the concept of you sketch and my photo match!!!

    Yeah... I am now officially confused as to which picture I will enter into the challenge. It's down to the latest boxer image or the larger crop of these.
