I shoot lots of Egrets and GBHs and these are really good. The head dunk is terrific - I've been trying for that one without success. Its would be nice to tell us which camera and lens you used.
Looks like you were in tight quarters for that third one. Nice feather detail and an unusual perspective, Dennis.
Thanks Ric, for the comments, and yes this was sure tight, as I followed the Egret in the pond, good thing I had taken the camera of the tripod, as I really was lucky with this shot and good thing to get a focus lock on the bird. I really like the wings forward and being up a bit higher really worked out here.

Thanks for the comments, as for the head dunk, well you just need to watch these birds when they are looking for fish, and you can almostt get them every time for the dunk, they tend to sway a bit just before they dunk there head in the water.
These images where taken with Canon 1D-MKIII and 300mm L 2.8 with a 1.4 TC on the lens 420mm in total. This is a sweet combination and tack sharp, and not bad even with the 2 X TC on the lens.... Hope that this is some help.

Canon 7D, 100-400L, Mongoose 3.5, hoping for a 500L real soon.
Thanks Dan for the comments, and I agree that one is neat, and turned out better than I thought, just love the water splash in this image.

Thanks Bud, I like this one as well, the reflection of the Egret in the water really adds a nice touch to the overall image.
