This would be my first engagement and wedding shot of the same couple, in fact it would be my first wedding ever.I am super nervous, but need some advice on what to do with these photos, they are in the raw. Just click on the links to see the .jpg http://blog.rachel-ewen.com/?q=node/22

Thanks so much!

I would do something like this:

Just have fun with the color and cropping. Good luck!

I agree with PP....play with the color and angles, as well as maybe some need post thrown in. They look like a fun couple to work with.

I think the biggest thing you could have done was shoot later in the day, the light seemed really hard. Good for your first time out!

while there is some good advice above as how to improve your images (i'd recommend selective use of some Totally Red Actions and cropping), my main focus would be on 2 things (they both relate to your blog):

1/ dedicate a separate blog to photography ONLY if you are serious about it (you can have other stuff for cooking etc) - there is plenty of free software out there
2/ your blog should DISPLAY the images, not post links to them (potential customers won't give you time of day for that)

just my 2 cents - YMMV

Thanks for the advice, I have been in the midst of trying to do an overhaul on my sites, including my blog.
I wanted to include my other interests as well as a place for my pictures. The blog is just to keep people up to date as of right now, but yea, you are totally right, and I realized that a month after my website launched that I wasn't really happy with the set up.
    Thanks again.
