Here's an easy one: get your widest and your longest lenses (I would take my 10-22 at 10 and 100-400 at 400 + x1.4 extender) and then take a shot at the same subject in a way that the said subject fills about same part of the frame in both cases. Please specify focal length (or more:-) and distance from the subject for each shot.
Let's go long (and wide:-)!

This image was rotated slightly which resulted in a cropped original.
I thought the mirror behind the subject would offer some more interesting details about the differences between the wide and long shots.
Also, I did this assignment since it was near the top of the forum vs. going to #1 or the last one "dashboard"
Thanks
Thank you, nice entry!
Set up
Wide, 17mm on 50D.
Long, 200mm on 50D.
Best I could do in the limited space with my son wanting his play room back. Will try to get another one up next week without the background issues.
Thank you!
Nice entries!
Appreciate the setup shot!
