Sunpak says, on my answering machine, we never connected, that ALL of their flashes were made for film cameras.

I used my 5000 on my 300, it seemed to work, but I don't think it worked TTL.

She said, on my cell voice mail, that it will only work on manual and auto.

I have to get a new booklet to see what that means, exactly. It did do something on my 300. On my 20D, I was having problems, then the on camera flash would not work. I am superstitious enough to think that possibly the Sunpak broke it. Since it is working now, I am just using the oncamera. I don't use flash often.

ginger (just reporting what I was told: manual or auto, a new flash dedicated to digitals sometime this year, maybe)
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.
