Local meetup group went down to the river last night. There was a good turn out, about 25-30 guys. We had a good time. Here is one of a few hundred that I took.

Very slight crop, otherwise straight from the camera.

This was the first bridge built to cross into Ohio. It is a mini brooklyn bridge.

Is this the one that used to go almost right up to Riverfront Stadium? If so, I used to cross it often going to Reds games... Thanks for the memories (even if it's the wrong bridge! :D)

    You got some good ones!

I like this one the best because of the contrast of the warm brown of the bridge and the misty gray coolness of the skyline.

Just a suggestion -- you might want to check the horizon to see if it's straight.

Thanks everyone. We had a great time.

Yes the stadium was/is just on the other side of this bridge. Now there is two stadiums. One to each side.

    Fred,

I said several times during the night that I wish Fred would have made it. He would know all "the spots". We just walked along the path from the suspension bridge toward the Big Mac bridge. Had a good time. Good turn out about 25- 30 guys/gals. Was much better than the last meeting.

Hope to see you at the next one.
