    Have heard police officers telling stories of having suspects trapped in alleys. Instead of going in after them they stood at the entrance threatened to send in dogs and then barked. The officers, not real dogs. Apparently it worked too.

    I agree I would not want a police dog after me either :)

    They do a great job those dogs, I have a little cat that bites and she really hurts when she gets cranky, I hate to think what a German Sheppard that's been trained to attack is capable of doing once it's got hold of you.
