    6HP? Nah, I don't think so. :nah

The plaque is pretty interesting. Built in 1970 according to a paper which was written in 1918. Wild! I wonder if it was the only one built.

Nice shots. The HDR processing really shows the details. thumb.gif

    Hi Jack,

As a dyed-in-the-wool motorcyclist, I find this thing fascinating. I'm with Azzaro though, I don't want to be on it when the steam cuts loose. Very nice HDR treatment too.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Thanks Joel
I don't know if others were built in the 1918+ time period or not. But as far as I know this is the only recently built one.

Great find, and nice pictures; thanks for sharing!

I dunno about riding around with 600psi of superheated steam in close proximity to my nether regions, though…

    Whoooooooshhhhhh!

Cool shot. Makes me think of Babbage and his steam-powered computational engines. ... It could have been an entirely different world.

    Hi Tom
Thanks. Thought you'd get a kick out of this. The real danger, I was told, is running out of water which allows the steam to superheat increasing the pressure and blowing up the steam generator. The maker added a steel plate just below the frame and above the generator for protection.
