K, how's everyone doing now? Are things running smoothly, or are we still seeing trouble?

I'm still having the same issue...

All my thumbs are back, but the gallery I've been working with tonight now has photos out of order. The gallery is set to date order, ascending, but now randomly throughout the gallery photos are switched with the shot previous to it...which looks a bit strange when you have a sequence of someone batting a ball. :D

The problem I am having is quoted below. I was in the middle of uploading final edits for one of my orders when problem occurred. Well I guess I will just go to sleep and hope things get sorted out by tomorrow.

    "
What is going on with the pro sales site tonight? I tried to upload (replace) a final edit and got an "error uploading, please try again" message. Now it shows my order as being processed and printing. When I click on any of my orders all of the information is missing. I sent a separate email to your help desk a few minutes ago with the order details. It is order # 1038510. It should not be processed yet since I did not hit the ship button and I did not replace my proofs with any of my final edits. Please advise."

I'm a new user also experiencing problems tonight. First it was the issue with thumbs not displaying, and then the main photo not appearing. Now I can't upload anything.

I use both the iPhoto plug in and MacDaddy and neither are recognizing my account (no galleries are listed and I get an "invalid API key" popup when I try the iPhoto plug in.

    Very frustrating.

Same here. Everything seems to be running smoothly again, all externally linked images are coming up as exepcted.

    Elaine,

Would it be possible to upload the images again to a new test gallery? To see how they sort?

I would think now that the issue is fixed it should sort properly, but if it doesn't starting over should work. I hope that's not too much to ask.

Order 1038510 still shows it's in Proof Delay, until the 23rd. I can still see the Ship It button on your order page.

Can you try checking again? Maybe clearing cookies/cache? We haven't submitted it to the lab, but it's possible while things were wonky that it showed we did. But now we still have it in Proof Delay. I hope that's good news!

    Hi Fairchild,

Welcome to Dgrin and SmugMug! Sorry to give you so much trouble right at the start.

First, let's have you try uploading using the Simple uploader, so to see if you can upload using our program instead of a plugin or MacDaddy.

    Info here:
    http://www.smugmug.com/help/upload-pictures

Does Simple work? If not, you can holler at our Support Heroes here and we'll help out:

Hopefully Simple does the trick. ;)

I apparently spoke too soon, because everything is back on. At least now I know it's probably not a problem on my end if this happens again.

Thanks for the tech support direction. I'll also try the Simple uploader first in the event of trouble. :D

To be honest, I'd rather not, as the gallery has 328 images in it. Do you think it might work to bulk move them to a new gallery? Maybe I'll try that.

You could try sorting the gallery to a different order, and then re-sorting it into date-taken order...

Thank you...I tried your suggestion a few times, and it seems to be helping. thumb.gif Not everything is back in order, but most of them are back in place.
