Enjoying the evening sun...

One of the friendly spiders sunning herself (?) on the bloom of a gerbera. Quite accomodating, but the strong evening sun was accompanied by a reasonable breeze which meant plenty of blurred and OOF frames in between a few OK ones.

The spider is an Orb, or Cross spider, incredibly common in the UK (they are the ones that spin the really big intricate webs between the stems and branches of your shrubs and such.

C&C as always appreciated.

I really think the second is a great picture. Its a both a macro insect and flower photo in one. Beautiful colors and nice composition.

    Paul.

I like second shot too Paul nod.gif

The Spider appears to be very interested in the green plant below the flower.

Good Shots, thanks for sharing thumb.gif .... Skippy :D
