at one point, EZprints would take an image and put it on a license plate - I've got two at home that I made for my sons. They don't have that option visible on the ezprints.com website any longer; I've written to ask if they're still available but in the meantime... does anyone know of a company that does this for a reasonable fee? I think ezprints used to charge $13, I know it was under $20. The only company I've found so far wants $50 each!

I've been wondering the same thing, figured I could use it as another form of advertising as well as another product.

I have a side-sign business, basically printing on adhesive vinyl. I could print these for you for even less and you stick them to the blank plate, or I could find you a blank plate and still be less. Shoot me a PM if this is of interest.

Smart move ... locked rag-top is the step right before buying a new rag-top. Gear in a locked rag-top .... good way to loose both the gear and the rag-top!

Just be a little careful with liability issues if you have an accident, the insurance companies may see it as you are a business and would likely say that your biz insurance should pay for it, or yourself. Better check with your car insurance.
