Beautiful! I recently bought a Hoya R72 filter for my D80, I really must give it a proper try. Great inspiration this shot.

    Hi Jeff,

This is nicely done. it's a nice scene and well rendered.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Howdy Jeff,

Really like this one, great crisp whites and details, and the composition makes this a very powerful shot.

Very nicely done, like your post processing on this one!!!
    Take care,

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I hope the R72 filter works for you, Chris. I was quite frustrated using IR filters. Getting a dedicated IR camera made all the difference in the world.

Yeh I know, it really is a compromise. One day I'll upgrade and the D80 will be sent straight off for conversion. But until then, I'll have to settle for 5 minute exposures and a cuppa between each shot!

Well done! I like the minimal processing :D

The clouds at the top almost look like they're off shoots of the tree. Bet the tree would really pop against the sky on a clear day.
