These males were all singing loudly and proudly. They are pretty much quiet now and will be that way the rest of the summer months. April and May are the only times they sing.

    That song of theirs about drove me crazy until I found out what it was. I went out driving one day and the country roads were noisy with them, but I could not see a bird anywhere. Once I found out what it was, seemd like I saw them everywhere.

    I reckon you guys take photos of regular sparrows and colour them in in photoshop and then make up names for them ;)
