I am processing an Esession and am having trouble finding the "feel" for the gallery. The couple was very loving, hardly ever took their hands off each other. I guess i would call them warm...?? Does this processing work :dunno??

Thanks!

I am far from a pro but there seems to be almost an outline around the couple that is a little distracting....other than that I like it.

Personally I find myself drawn more to what appears to be a rather exercised Teddy Roosevelt than to the couple in this composition...

As far as the processing.....it looks a bit odd as the trees appear desaturated and the couple over colored. Lots of red with what has been mentioned: a halo, similar to oversharpening technique. The blend of coloring isn't strongly one way or another which gives it that odd look. Yes, the composition with the statue taking one's eye in that direction is not a good thing as well.

Thanks. I am not really looking for composition as of yet...this was just one I selected from the bunch that I thought had a variety of color and ground/tree ratio. I tend to do this before I start processing to find what works best for the entire group of pictures...But thanks for the thoughts on that.

The couple picked this kinda run down park in DC called Roosevelt Island. Interesting place.

Sounds like I should work more on it...

    Thanks.
