The mountain streams and rivers around here have been swollen with rushing water due to recent heavy rains.

These potholes, many large enough to bath in, were formed by small stones caught up in swirling eddies wearing away the rock over thousands of years.

Two branches of the river converge here making for a very turbulent scene.

    These are excellent. I love flowing water shots and you have done a job job with these. The detail in the rocks is fantastic. Lighting is excellent as well and know how hard that can be to achieve back in the woods like this. I have tried to achieve good results with rocks and water for many years and never come anywhere close to this type results. clap.gif

    Seriously! I am shooting with a Nikon D40 using the kit 18 - 55 lens as well as a 55 - 200 VR kit type lens.
