    Beautiful image with perfect exposure. I'd suggest cleaning up the little bit of haloing that is apparent along the ridge line. Otherwise, excellent work!

    Sweet. Looks like it belongs on Mars, except for the cloudscape. So I'd have to guess it's Arizona...?

    Thank you everyone. It always helps me to post, with or without comments I get a different look at them than from just within PS. I tried blending two exposures together, but probably could have ran with one slightly underexposed and avoided a couple issues as well as the haloing.

    Always something I guess. :)

    Blending can be tricky. Did you do the blending by hand? If so, you may want to try Enfuse. I'm just getting started with it myself -- it's a bit confusing, but turns out some nice results.

    Just by hand- Trying a few things I learned last year, but have failed to practice.

    Enfuse- I might give that a shot.

    Eia, sorry, I didn;t include more in my earlier response;

    Sigma 10-20
    iso 100 (d300 lo1)

    Sky - f22 @ 1/30 sec
    fore and midground - f22 @ 1/8 sec

    I could have avoided the haloing, but like the look of a velvia sw filter that increases the dynamic range.

    There's a bit of a saturated look to the earth, but this was taken within minutes of a light rain passing through the area.

    Beaker-

    California Mojave Desert.
