I'm much more into landscape photos as well. I take so many shots of Seattle because I'm lazy and it's a lot more convenient to drive 15 minutes to the location and not have some long hike to go on.
I do plan to do a lot more hiking this summer though.

Also, don't think of shooting nearby convenient cityscapes as being lazy, think of it as being opportunistic
