Took these at lunch today...not the best in clarity but I thought I'd share.

Thanks Brian. I wound up going to manual focus and doing a field of focus to try and catch the be leaving or entering the flower. I should have bumped my ISO so I could run a faster SS but it was a spur of the moment capture.

i was trying to capture some bees in flight a couple of weeks ago, they are fast!
but i see you have succeeded where i have failed
i too think the shutter speed is sufficient!
shoots things with a D80, an F1, and a Diana F+

Swwwwwweeeeeeet!!! Not a lot of people are successful capturing Bees in flight, they are sooooo not easy to do.
