Alstromera Still Life

Taken late last night/early morning while watching "Shutter" (a movie about a photographer) this is an Alstromera out of the bunch of flowers bought on Monday.

I decided to compliment the reddish markings in the petals by using a red background (the plastic lid off the recycling container) and after tweaking the usual (except for any sharpening - that was done in the resize action I use to get images down to 800x600 @ 72dpi) but I did add a Bas Relief layer reduced to 23% opacity, and the small drop shadow border and a 5px stroke.

The light was simply the ceiling flourescent tube.

C&C as always appreciated...

(It's way past my bedtime, so you all in the morning)...
