How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Lookin good Mushy, thumb.gifthumb

Congrats on your 1st BIFs clap.gifand though they may be common, I have seen some excellent gull shots. Ones that rival any raptor shots I've viewed. So don't feel like you've shot unworthy subjects. As others have mentioned, these guys are great to practice on and most of us got our first BIFs shooting gulls :D It's sort of a rite of passage :lol

    Congrats!
Gulls make great practice for tracking and following and focusing. You can learn a lot about gulls and your camera's focusing ability! I still fight with getting just what I want. I carry old oyster crackers in the back of the car to attract them and my assistant (hubby or daughter) throw them up to attract the gulls.
