Lightning Storm

This is only the second time that I have been sort of successful at capturing lightning. I have seen much better. any suggestions welcomes.

    That 2nd shot is terrific, ron! thumb.gif I don't like the effect of the flash that much on the first shot. Typically, if I have to use a little fill in flash, I dial down its strength until the image looks more "natural" on the camera's LCD screen.
    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

    Thanks Mahesh. I wondered a bit on the first photo also. I have not tried this type of shot much and will have to try what you suggest!

    That second shot rocks, ron. I haven't had any luck in capturing lightning (guess I need to work harder). I like the perspective on the first shot; I agree with Mahesh on the flash fill in the first shot. Thanks for sharing.

    I agree with what Mahesh had to say regarding that first photo. The second one is awesome though! It's sure a good feeling when you actually manage to capture that bolt of lightning.
