New Lens, Feedback please

Hello all
I just wanted to post a pic up that i shot today, just messing around in yard, and taking a shot of just anything getting used to the camera, took this picture and thought i would post it and try to get some feedback on how it looks, as far as DOF, color, sharpness etc...
Aperature Mode
shot at f2.8, 1250 SS, ISO320, 120mm focal length
my new lens is a Nikon 70-200f2.8 AF-S VR
and body is a Nikon D90

    i'm just new...
    so i can offer only what an untrained eye could offer...


    But for me its sharp, nice bokeh, nice colors.

    I bought that same lens about 1 1/2 years ago, and it is as solid as can be. I use it as my main lens and is ALWAYS attached to my camera.

    It's heavy, and your neck will get sore if you keep it there for a long time, but it's a fantastic lens. Enjoy it!

    That's a pretty lense. If you still have money left over, I recommend the 50mm 1.8. If your camera has a motor, it will auto focus. If it doesn't, then that just leaves a little extra work to do.

    I've been using this lense for a bit now, and for the money, it can't be beat.

    Good shot with a great lens. Because your background is so plain the photo needs a little depth. When your out again try to find a background with some depth. It will distort/blur the background very nicely and give the portrait some general depth.
