****** http-equiv="CONTENT-TYPE" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><title></title>****** name="GENERATOR" content="OpenOffice.org 3.0 (Win32)"><style type="text/css"> <!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> </style> Does anyone have any experience moving their site hosting from godaddy to smugmug.
The reason I ask is that I recently did this and I am very pleased with the new site.
However when at godaddy I was using there SiteAnalytics, I have now switched to goggle analytics and my hit rate has dropped dramatically. I'm just wondering if that is really true, my web site address didn't change so I don't see any reason for this unless siteAnalytics was for some reason over reporting or goggle analytics is under reporting.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks
Carson

    I use statcounter and google analytics for site statistics in addition to webalizer and awstats on my server. As far as hits, they're all different, lol.

    Seems like each of these tools use different ways to guage traffic. I only use the ones that are same across the board as facts. Hope this helps.

    Thanks, that's kind of what I expected.

    Can I use GoDaddy's Site Analytics with my SMugmug site?
    I just recently signed up with Smugmug and am currently designing my site. I purchases my domain from Godaddy and also purchased their Site Analytics feature. Does anyone know if and how I can use these analytics with my Smugmug site. GoDaddy rep seemed to think that it was a matter of entering the correct code. I would greatly appreciate the help...hoping I didn't purchase something I can't use.

    personalizing my website???
    Hi I'm new to DGrin... I have a website through Smugmug, but I have no idea on how to personalize it myself. I noticed Sundee wrote that she set up hers with them too and I clicked on her site and I love how it's set up. How can I get mine like that?!!! If you'd like check mine out and please help me change it around. karlasullivanphotography.com
