...the first strawberry of the season. this was a candid shot, taken during our annual pool-opening barbecue bash.
technical information: 1/80th sec, f/2.8, iso 100 on my canon rebel @100
mm with a 70-200L f/2.8 i.s. lens.
in post - shot in raw, converted in adobe camera raw. i developed two exposures, one for the face and then i blew out the background, and merged the two together. then my normal b&w process...convert, selective color blacks...and a toning layer at 28% (masking out the luscious red berry of course!).

Lynn, if nothing else works, try this: click on the Reply button on Andy's post. In the Reply box you'll see the URL for the image, bracketed by the [img} stuff. Cut and paste the URL into your browser, should take you to the photo. it's a pain, but it works for me.
