So, I'm sure this is a longshot, but does anyone have a D90 laying around they're looking to offload? Don't consider this a serious offer as of now, as I'm only putting feelers out in case my hunt for a D80 doesn't work.

Shoot me a PM or email if you have one you're looking to sell, I'm interested to see what a good deal looks like for a D90!

Thanks,
Nick

Adorama has some refurbished units for $769.95, body only.

Thanks, although I'm a little leery of refurbished units. If I have to go there to get one, I will, but I'd much rather buy used and well taken care of, or new.

Will keep that in mind though!

    Why?
When a factory refurbishes something they do it right. I have purchased several refurbs from Adorama and I dare anyone to tell the difference between them and a new one.
Seriously dont knock what you have not tried. Not to mention the refurbs come with a little warranty.
If you care more about the gear you use that the pictures you take, you have a problem:D

True, I have another friend that testified the same thing to me. It's definitely an option, although I'm currently fielding a few offers for both D80s and D90s.

    Thanks for the replies!

+1 for Adorama refurbs! I've gotten a couple of cameras(canon cameras) and a few accessories that were refurbished and they were awesome! Just like new!

+1,000,000 for great members who are looking to sell! Will be closing Monday on a used D90, only 1,000 clicks on it, not a scratch on it!

Thanks everyone for your help, and for future upgrades, I'll certainly keep refurb's in mind!
