Virginia Wildlife Museum, Newport News Va. I took my daughter to visit a local college, we got there a day early to get to know the area. We spent an afternoon at the museum. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon.
All shots using a D300 & Sigma 120-300 on a monopod.

120-300 @ 270mm, f3.5 1/400s

On the next to shots I used an SB800 and had the bouncing off walls that were made looked like black river bank walls.

... @300mm, f5.6 1/60s.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Harry, coming from you that means a bunch. Thanks. Of course these kids were not out in the wild so they were easier to shoot. I think "zoos" may be a good place to practice. This is also my first time shooting all the shots in RAW and then going "back to the lab". I got a lot to learn but I was very happy with this group.
