really like the composition on this one, and the colors on the rocks in the foreground. i think i'd be tempted to run it through some image alignment software to compensate for the lens distortion, though...

I also like the composition of this.

I was there a few weeks ago but it started rain very hard so we left.

    Rocky, Ron, and Wendell,

Thanks for the nice comments! Rocky, ya I don't like that distortion too much either, but I've been too lazy to correct it. Maybe soon. :D

Mahesh, is there any place you haven't shot yet?! eek7.gif

I really love the subtle beauty of this shot. I mean, the lines are powerful and the light is just perfect, but still this scene is understated all the same. That's what makes it just right, I think.

Also, the great sun star doesn't hurt! lol3.gif

Seconded! :D Your necessity for travel should be lessened in the summer with Rainier and the Olympics at their peak.

This is a wonderful composition, with fantastic light. Nice capture!

Thanks, Ron! Very correct. I try not to travel out of state in the summer months as Seattle is the best place to be during that season. Don't let that out, however, as we don't want to be overrun. :D
