Yes, it's water droplets... I know, it's been done many times, but I tried it for the first time tonight, and got some decent ones (I think) and most importantly, had fun!
Blurred, but "impressionistic"
And... my totally cheap, totally rigged setup. blue colors are flash bounced from a sewing box, green from a watermelon, and pink from a lunchbox.
All shot with my K10D with either Promaster 75-150mm or Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 with Sears 49mm +4 closeup filter.

Congratulations on successfully capturing the drops.

You did a very nice job of it.
As I scrolled down thru your pics I was fascinated to discover that you had done this in a simple baking pan. They underlying scratches at first looked like underwater grasses to me.
