Purple Gallinule
A pair of Purple Gallinule were tending their nest this morning at the Viera Wetlands. As one bird was sitting on the eggs, the other was out and about forging for food and nesting materials. About every 30-45 minuets, they would have a "Changing of the Guard" reversing their respective duties.

Interesting set of an unheard of bird as far as I'm concerned. Beautiful colors.
