Finding my images through google search

So I find this odd. I have joined some smugmug communities and added a few galleries to them When I do a google search for my name or a very specific subject I have shot my own images don't come up. Instead other peoples photos who are also a part of that group come up instead. For example, if I search my name and look in images other peoples images from the smug mug community I am sharing a gallery with come up, but not mine. Any thoughts as to why?
